A professional photographer from Bogotá, Colombia, Philippe inherited his love for the craft from his father, an award-winning photographer and graphic designer. Learning the ropes with his dad’s gear sparked a deep connection to film photography at an early age.
Self-taught and driven by a passion for creativity, Philippe honed his skills in Miami, learning alongside fellow artists and co-founding community startups that celebrated diverse creative roots and cultural expression. Immersed in the underground electronic music scene, his focus shifted toward live event photography—capturing moments defined by movement, energy, and human connection.
Now based in New York, Philippe operates at the intersection of visual creation and production, working across photography, film production, and live events. Through PG Studio, he has built a freelance career that spans commercial photography, documentary work, large-scale live events, and New York’s film and commercial production ecosystem, bridging creative direction with on-the-ground execution.
From major festivals like Ultra and iiiPoints to underground art and music spaces, and from intimate portrait work to full-scale production environments, Philippe’s work is driven by one core principle: telling honest stories through image, structure, and experience.
